Vintage 30
- Back in 1986 a new breed of hard rock player was on the rise. To meet the demands of the players and their increasingly ‘hot-rodded’ amplifiers, we set out to develop a modern speaker, capable of handling much more power and overdrive. To achieve this, we coupled our ‘H’ magnet (the closest in performance to Alnico) with a new cone and voice coil employing contemporary materials.
Our most revealing speaker, the Vintage 30 features enormously detailed and complex overtones, a warm low-end, a famously rich vocal mid-range and a beautifully detailed top-end. Used singly to reveal the complexities in hand-wired boutique amps, or in quartets for a wonderfully intricate vintage 3D crunch, the Vintage 30 sound has been captured on thousands of recordings from a diverse range of notable players including Slash, Steve Stevens and Peter Frampton.
G12K-100
- Celestion’s very own monster of rock, the G12K-100, makes full use of the heaviest G12 magnet to combine huge power handling with superb clarity across a wide frequency response.
A massive bottom-end, rock-hard midrange and restrained top-end make this the perfect speaker to add thump and grind to modern high-gain tones.
Loaded in 4x12s it delivers its famous sledgehammer lows, as favoured by Slayer’s Kerry King, but it also often finds use in small boutique combos, bringing a powerful mix of low-end warmth and mid-range attack
G12M Greenback
- The G12M Greenback has evolved over the decades but still retains its essential, sought-after tone.
This version exhibits all the classic G12M characteristics but is voiced with additional broad mid-range attack and restrained top-end to give a forward, punchy attitude to chords and a searing lead tone without fizz.
With its well-controlled low-end it can be used singly in low-powered amps, or in multiples for high-power rock heads. It’s an ideal speaker to bring drive and definition to modern high gain amps.
G12H
- It’s hard to escape the sound of the G12H, just listen to any Hendrix recording and chances are you’ll be hearing a whole raft of them powering the guitar out of the mix.
With a heavier magnet than the G12M, this faithful recreation captures the unmistakable mojo of late 60s rock guitar tones. Used singly it exhibits a pleasing, strong low-end, but it’s in a 4x12 configuration that it generates the great chugging ‘thump’ that the guitar heroes of the day were renowned for. With a densely complex and buttery mid-range and a finely detailed top-end, the G12H is excellent for cranking out huge, dark power chords, with smooth and rich bridge pickup tones and flutey neck pickup tones.
CELESTION Gold Alnico
- Building on the platform of the Blue, the Gold is a higher-powered, Alnico-magnet speaker that recreates the unmistakable sonic signature of a ‘well played-in’ original. Over time, the high frequencies of a Blue soften and become less chalky as the cone becomes more flexible – a much sought after characteristic that the Gold exhibits straight out of the box. Also present in the Gold sound from the outset is an added warmth and complexity in the midrange which, coupled with the classic Alnico qualities of a laid-back attack, rounded low end and brilliant belllike highs, deliver huge rhythm voicings and saturated vocal lead tones.
The Gold is a wonderfully expressive and revealing loudspeaker, affording guitarists an unprecedented degree of dynamic control. It has already become a favourite for many working players worldwide whether picking and bending with Brad Paisley, or rocking hard with Danny Spitz of Anthrax.

Swamp Thang
- A thick and chunky 12" American guitar speaker with big bottom end. Coloration: Very powerful, thick and chunky tone. Very touch-sensitive with good sustain. Awesome bottom end.
Genre: Very American tone suitable for Blues, Rock, and Jazz.
Texas Heat
- A warm and smooth 12" American guitar speaker packin’ a little heat, Texas style. Coloration: Nice warm, fat tone with a little top end bite and clarity. Very touch-sensitive with a hint of British flavor.
Genre: American Rock, Blues, and Southern Rock.
Red Fang Alnico
- A 12" guitar speaker with unique British voicing, a large alnico magnet, smooth distortion and rich harmonics. Coloration: Vintage British sound with warm undertones and high-end sparkle.
Genre: Vintage classic British tone for Blues, Country, Indie and Jazz.
The Governor
- A thick and raunchy British-voiced 12" guitar speaker with leading tonal characteristics. Coloration: Classic British tone. Thick and raunchy with lots of mids.
Genre: Classic British Rock tone of the 60’s and 70’s.
The Wizard
- A 12" speaker with enchanting tonal characteristics borrowed from Private Jack and The Governor. Coloration: Very articulate, but with a hint of grit. Nice sustain and exceptionally good tight bottom.
Cross between Private Jack and The Governor. Genre: Classic Rock tones of the 60’s and 70’s.
EVM-12L Black Label
- The original EVM12L 12" loudspeaker was introduced in 1983. Known for its huge tone, gorgeous low-end and incredible stability at extreme volumes, it quickly achieved legendary status. Top guitarists and bassists loved it not only for its sound, but also for its reliability. Tour after tour, the EVM 12L held up to the demands of the most punishing players.
Enter the EVM-12L Black Label, the official guitar loudspeaker of Zakk Wylde and Black Label Society. Take the EVM-12L, add Zakk's personal specs (improved power handling, improved magnet design, better venting, and the Black Label colors), and now you have the greatest guitar loudspeaker in the world. EVM-12L Classic
